Terminix Service, Inc. is looking to hire a full-time Wildlife / Home Repair Technician to service the Myrtle Beach /Georgetown / North Myrtle Beach SC and surrounding areas. Applicants should live near or around surrounding service areas.

A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A WILDLIFE EXCLUSION / HOME REPAIR TECHNICIAN

As a Wildlife Exclusion / Home Repair Technician who is focused on customer service, you are excited to start your route each day. Whether rural or urban, you arrive at each residential, commercial, or industrial property on time. Coming to save them from unwanted rascals, you are often welcomed as a hero. And, whether you must climb or crawl on hands and knees, you never let them down! Your easy-going, helpful demeanor puts them at ease as you assess their problem and create a personalized solution including repairs.

Using your excellent communication skills, you consult with private landowners, lessees, citizen groups, or associations that seek damage management assistance and participate in negotiating the sale of services. With attention to detail, you prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports. You take pride in your work and keep your equipment and vehicle in proper operating condition at all times. As the friendly neighborhood Wildlife Exclusion / Home Repair Technician, helping people is your job!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A WILDLIFE/ HOME REPAIR TECHNICIAN

Prior carpenter, construction, or handyman experience
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Clean driving record and valid driver's license
Ability to operate and maintain a company truck
Physically active and able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, and climb all day (flying not required)
Ability to lift over 75 lbs.
Ability to work in small confined spaces such as attics and crawl spaces
Ability to work steadily on ladders without fear as well as move and set a 32' ladder without the help of a sidekick
Ability and willingness to work in all types of weather
Sales ability
Any prior experience with wildlife, construction, or sales is a plus! Are you self-motivated and able to prioritize tasks effectively? Would you rather be on-the-move than sitting at a desk all day? Are you coachable? Do you love meeting new people? Do you remain calm under pressure? Do you like to take on new challenges? Are you willing to get a little dirty from time to time? Can you stare a raccoon down without flinching? If so, you might just be the perfect handyman or carpenter to take on this Wildlife Exclusion / Home Repair Technician position!

WORK SCHEDULE

This is a full-time Monday - Friday position for someone with experience as a handyman, carpenter, or construction worker. (You may be required to work on holidays or weekends when needed.)
