Primary Care Physician Assistant Opportunities with McLeod Health Coastal Region McLeod Health- North Myrtle Beach Primary Care (Little River, SC) Express Care APP- Primary Care Partners McLeod Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physician Assistant to join our dedicated Primary Care team in Myrtle Beach, SC. This is an excellent opportunity for an APP who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys providing high-quality care to patients who may struggle to access daytime appointments. Highlights • Qualifications: PA C; experience in Primary Care, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine preferred; commitment to compassionate, accessible patient care • Skills: Strong clinical judgment; excellent communication; comfortable managing patients independently during extended hours; team oriented mindset • Practice Structure: Collaborative Primary Care team with 2 Physicians, 2 APPs, 1–2 Medical Assistants, and dedicated clerical/front office support • Schedule: Outpatient only; no call – Mon–Thurs: 4:00 PM–9:00 PM – Fri: 1:00 PM–9:00 PM – Sat: 8:00 AM–1:00 PM – Sun: 1:00 PM–6:00 PM • Ideal Fit: Providers who prefer later hours, appreciate non traditional schedules, or desire weekday daytime flexibility Responsibilities • Provide 100% outpatient primary care during extended hours • Evaluate and manage acute and chronic conditions • Conduct exams and develop evidence based treatment plans • Order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests • Coordinate care with supervising physicians and the clinic team • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR • Deliver patient centered care in alignment with McLeod Health’s quality standards Orientation • Comprehensive onboarding with structured shadowing and support from experienced physicians and APPs • Training designed to ensure confidence in workflow, clinic processes, and patient volume expectations kirstianna.muller@mcleodhealth.org
