Description PWS Title: Senior Subject Matter Expert Target
Engagement Systems Location : Fort Bragg, NC Clearance Type: Top
Secret Responsibilities: Support SGM and Deputy TES as TES SME for
SOF individual and crew-served weapons and small arms ammunition.
Prepare and develop requirements documentation (ICDs, CDDs, SPECAT,
BOIPs, Test Plans, project folders). Provide advice and training on
advanced drilling/technology applications where applicable, as well
as explosive planning factors when tied to TES test environments.
Support design, testing, and fielding of weapons and ammunition
solutions aligned with SOF requirements. Qualifications Required
Qualifications: Minimum 10 years in weapons and small arms
ammunition development, testing, or fielding, including 3–5 years
working with SOF or specialized weapons programs. Familiarity with
industry SAAMI specifications and small arms employment TTPs.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Ballistics, or related
field, or equivalent armorer/ordnance background. TOP SECRET
clearance. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with
weapons/ammunition requirements development and test range
operations.
