CERTS / EXP: CPI. Charge nurse experience. JOB Ratios: 1:6-7Shift:
nights; 36 hours only: 8- 26 weeks accepted!!RTO: 7 days MAX Call
required if called off on a prescheduled shift.Float Requirement:
Floating required to similar units and alternate care locations
with inpatients holding. Like units includes floating to inpatient
holding in the ED, or any alternate medical patient care location.
Weekend Requirement: *EVERY OTHER WEEKEND REQUIRED. PATIENT
DIAGNOSES: High Acuity Adults and Geriatrics.**Contract staff may
be required to care for patients with COVID. SPECIAL PROCEDURES /
UNIT DETAILS: Daily Census 42.General medical-surgical diagnosis
primary patient population. Administration of
chemotherapy/biotherapy -IV, PO, or injection. DKA - Insulin drip,
AKI, Sepsis, Cancer, Septic shock, Pain, OD, Malignant Neoplasms,
ARF, Encephalopathy, FTT, Diabetic foot ulcers, Heparin drips. UNIT
SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): PYXIS, EPIC,
SBAR. UNIT ORIENTATION: 24 hrs (2 shifts) SCRUBS: Navy Blue and
white. *** INTERNAL NOTES ******Must pass EKG Testing prior to
start for this specialty***Please SCREEN applicant with strong Onc
experience, no Chemo cert.Traveler will be assigned to a Inclement
Weather Team.Shifts called out will need to have make up shifts
rescheduled. During times of increased census, typical ratios may
be higher. Contract staff will be assigned equally to the home unit
staff to ensure that patients are covered with a registered
nurseAttendance to monthly staff meetings. Contract staff may be
required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass

12 months to return as a traveler to any Novant facility. - -Please

approval is needed.We cannot proceed with submission until rehire
approval provided. - -Local Rule - -Is your candidate local? -Perm
address within 50 miles of the facility will be accepted at a

profile has been sent to the manager for review. -If no RTO, please
write none -If your traveler has 7 days or less of RTO, including
no holidays, we can pre-approve their RTO which leads to a faster
offer process. If your traveler has 8 or more days of RTO,
including a holiday we will need to seek manager approval before we
can offer. 7 days MAX is allowed so please work with your traveler
to reduce their RTO request. - -Travelers must be able to work 2 of
3 major holidays. -No RTO allowed the first week of assignment
(they will be orienting). -Valid State License - -Required at time

for travelers to float to other units based on their skill sets and
