Job Description Certification Details - ARRT - NMTCB Job Details
- Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer
relations with patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in
accordance with Service Excellence Standards and Core Values. -
Performs all duties involved in a variety of technical procedures
in the application of radionuclides for the diagnosis and treatment
of human disease. - Greets the patient and performs proper
identification per hospital policy, verifies patient’s orders for
procedure, completes patient history questionnaire, assists patient
with appropriate attire, positions patient properly, and informs
patient about the procedure. - Performs venipuncture utilizing
aseptic technique and injects patient with appropriate
radiopharmaceutical per protocol. - Selects and utilizes
appropriate technical factors for procedure based on body habits,
pathology, and body parts. - Processes completed images ensuring
they are of interpretable quality. - Seeks continuing education and
professionalism through continuing education programs and
in-services. - Complies with all policies and procedures of McLeod
Health and the PET CT department. - Delivers the highest quality of
care and service to all patients. - Performs all other duties as
assigned. Job Requirements - License/Certificate Verification:
Primary Source Verify. Copy of License / Certificate Needed state
specific registry. - ARRT or NMTCB certification required. - Proof
of 2 immunizations or Titer WITH Lab print out for MMR and
Varicella; no declinations accepted. - Proof of 3 vaccinations or
Titer WITH lab print out for Hepatitis B; no declinations accepted.
- Most up-to-date COVID-19 Vaccination Card showing Fully
Vaccinated (optional). - Fit Test required for all travelers with
make/model to be completed within a year of start (optional). -
Influenza Vaccine required Sept-April; medical/religious exemptions
considered case by case (optional). - Driver's License/State ID
required. - 2 Step PPD OR IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) required: 1st
within 1 year, 2nd within 90 days of start; Neg Q-Gold or Tspot
acceptable if completed within 90 days prior to start. - Annual
Negative PPD if 2 step PPD not done within past year (optional). -
Annual TB Questionnaire (optional). - Positive PPD with Negative
Chest X-Ray X-ray completed within 90 days of start (optional). -
Social Security Card required. - McLeod Criminal Background Check
Results including County, Statewide, National Search, OIG, EPLS,
OFAC, NSOP, SS Trace, and Education Verification done within 60
days of start covering last 7 years, updated annually. - McLeod
Employment Verification for 5 years. - 10 panel drug screening
completed within 30 days of start; rapid drug screen not accepted.
- McLeod Skills Checklist clinical only, completed prior to start
and updated annually. - McLeod Confirmation of Assignment standard
form required. Additional Details - Primary Source Verify. Copy of
