Job Description:
At TeamSigma, a pioneering firm at the intersection of
technology, artificial intelligence, and business transformation,
we are seeking a skilled Power Distribution & Make Ready Designer
to join our dynamic Engineering & Architecture department. As a
member of our innovative team, youll play a crucial role in
designing and planning the power distribution networks necessary to
support our advanced AI-powered platforms. The ideal candidate will
have a solid grounding in electrical engineering principles,
specifically in power distribution and utility coordination,
matched with a passion for integrating cutting-edge technologies
and sustainable practices. Designing and developing layouts for
power distribution networks that effectively integrate with local
utility infrastructures. Collaborating with municipal, utility, and
other regulatory bodies to ensure designs meet required
specifications and regulations. Preparing and reviewing engineering
drawings, schematics, and detailed plans for construction and
implementation. Conducting field surveys and studies to prepare for
and resolve any potential design or implementation issues.
Coordinating with other engineers, architects, and technology
specialists within TeamSigma to tailor solutions that support and
enhance machine learning capabilities. Ensuring all power
distribution designs adhere to environmental, health, and safety
standards and support sustainability goals. Proficient in CAD
software (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation) for designing electrical and
power distribution systems. Strong understanding of power
distribution concepts, utility requirements, and applicable
electrical codes. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and
organizational skills. Effective communication skills for
interfacing with internal teams and external stakeholders. Ability
to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred. Certification in
project management (such as PMP) can be advantageous.
