Under general supervision of the Area Vice President, the Sales
Support Manager leads and directs a team of Sales Support
Specialists and manages the daily activities and processes that
improve Account Manager/NBD productivity, customer
satisfaction/retention, and sales and GM growth. He/She serves
customers, both internal and external, by ensuring the staff
reporting to him/her provides support to the field in the areas of
customer set-up, price record creation and validation, order entry,
back order review, order fulfillment, procurement, sourcing,
researching innovations, error rate reduction, and other duties as
Leading the team and managing the processes that:
Oversee workflow of all applicable business processing, including
preparation of reports and other statistics, to support and direct
the sales support department
Implement policies and procedures to make sales processes more
efficient and effective
Handle and resolve more complex customer requests and/or issues
Manage cooperation with cross-functional teams to meet internal and
external customer requirements, to include region departments and
Support New Business Development representatives with daily growth
Produce and analyze data pertaining to sales trends, organic growth
opportunities, lead generation, and customer churn and provide
detail to AVP, DMs, AMs, and Branch Managers for recommended
Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing
solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to
Protects operation of company by keeping financial, production,
sales and marketing information and plans confidential
Maintains the corporate image and philosophy in all contact with
co-workers and customers
Interacts with the AVP and District Managers to ensure that the

Act as key point of contact between customer and BSC on specific
and challenging A/R issues in Y1 territories

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
5 years of customer service experience
2 or 4 year degree in Business, Customer Relations, Marketing
Working experience with SAP and other computer order entry system.
Computer proficiency with Word & Excel
Frequent bending. Prolonged standing or sitting. Frequent finger
manipulation required for typing, computer and/or calculator.
Excellent customer service & communication skills
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Strong verbal and written communication skills, self-starter,
self-motivated, sense of urgency, personable, extroverted
personality, well organized, ability to achieve goals, ability to
focus and pay attention to detail.
Working knowledge of business English, spelling, and arithmetic,
office practices and procedures, departmental rules and
