Job Description
Cornerstone OnDemand is seeking a highly analytical Senior Financial Analyst to join our growing company and Finance team. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for providing financial planning and analysis support for our organization to make data-driven decisions. This role will be an essential part of our Finance team and will work closely with the Accounting team and other department budget owners to drive key insights into the business. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience, ideally in a SaaS company, and will possess strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

  Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making processes
  
  
• 
  Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and analyses to key stakeholders
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with business partners across the organization to provide decision support through data analysis, financial modeling, and reporting
  
  
• 
  Drive financial planning and analysis process improvements, including automation and standardization
  
  
• 
  Partner with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

  • 
    Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
    
    
  • 
    3+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, SaaS business preferred
    
    
  • 
    Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
    
    
  • 
    Experience with financial planning and analysis software (e.g. Anaplan, Planful, Adaptive) preferred
    
    
  • 
    Excellent communication and presentation skills
    
    
  • 
    Proven ability to collaborate and build relationships with cross-functional teams
    
    
  • 
    Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements
    
    
  • 
    Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy, accountability and integrity
    
    
  •
