  • SPECIAL PROCEDURES/UNIT DETAILS: Unit monitors cardiac patients. Cardiac Drips (Dobutamine, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Milrinone, Dopamine, etc), Sheaths Pulls, TR Bands, Femstop
  • UNIT SYSTEMS include Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR
  • UNIT ORIENTATION: 24 hours
  • SCRUBS: Navy
    • Job Requirements
    • Minimum Years of Experience: 2
    • Traveler Experience: NOT REQUIRED
    • Locals Accepted/Rate Difference: Yes
    • Skills: Telemetry AND PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience. Interpretation of dysrhythmias and remote monitoring required. Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery, and Sheath Removal experience required. Accessing ports, Blood Product Administration, central Line/care management, PICC line management, Cardiac drip-titrate Diltiazem and Amiodarone, Post cardiac cath experience
    • Must Pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty.

      • Shift: NIGHT 3x12-Hour (36 or 48 hours)
      • Float Requirement: YES, REQUIRED
      • Weekend Requirement: 5-6 weekend shifts (equates to every other weekend)
      • Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team.
