general overview. SUMMARY OF POSITION: A Credit Advisor should
demonstrate commitment to delivering distinctive service. The
position will be responsible for providing the credit analysis and
underwriting for new and renewed credit requests. This position is
also responsible for ongoing portfolio management and preparation
of underwriting documentation. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Provide
distinctive service to clients and prospects, in person and over
the telephone. Respond to client inquiries and satisfactorily
resolve client issues. Support firm-wide achievement of the
three-ring standard (all phones answered by a live person within
three rings). * Give front end guidance on new and renewed credit
requests including desirability of the credit related to Pinnacle's
credit appetite, structure, documentation, and monitoring. *
Contribute to the timely response of requests by providing the
essential yet sufficient financial package, analysis and Capital
Stream information to the credit approving team. * Provide accurate
underwriting support to Financial Advisors through financial
spreading, written analysis, Global CF analysis, industry analysis,
projections, collateral evaluation, and credit risk grade. * Engage
in prospect and client calls. * Exhibit willingness and ability to
"weigh in" on the credit decision. * Ensure that Credit
Authorization Forms (CAF's) and Reviews on Capital Stream
adequately support the credit exposure and provide sufficient
written analysis to support the assigned risk rating and
recommendations * Set the ticklers on Capital Stream for Critical
Actions such as borrowing bases, compliance certificates, and
financial reporting. * Complete the CAF's and Periodic Reviews
timely and accurately on the Capital Stream system. * Perform
calculation and testing of financial covenants, borrowing bases and
margin requirements as required addressing and communicating any
issues that warrant discussion such as defaults, variances from
projections, over advances, potential risk rating changes (up or
down) * Ensure that appropriate front end cost analysis has been
evaluated on construction loans; where aligned with construction
funding group and as appropriate to ensure that construction loan
draws have proper documentation and are funded according to loan
agreement. Ensure that an appropriate Net Operating Income (NOI)
analysis has been completed to support the requested loan amount
for income producing property, as applicable. * Review the monthly
KPI reports available on the intranet each month ensuring accuracy
and discussing results with the appropriate Senior Credit Officer.
* Meet all the client's financial needs, both business and
personal, and refers clients to other specialty areas such as
Trust, Investments, Insurance, Treasury Management, etc. as
appropriate. * Assist other team members as needed to ensure
delivery of distinctive service. * Perform other related duties and
responsibilities as assigned. DESCRIPTION OF EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION,
AND TRAINING: * High School Diploma or Equivalent - College degree
is preferred - accounting, economics, finance, or business-related
field. * Minimum of 10 years' experience in financial services. *
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) or
related software. * Thorough knowledge and understanding of the
lending process. * Knowledge of federal banking regulations,
compliance, policies, and procedures. * Proficient in the use of
Capital Stream (credit origination system). DESCRIPTION OF
CAPABILITIES, PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS, AND ABILITIES: * Effective
interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication
skills. * Effective analytical skills in order to analyze financial
and procedural data. * Ability to define problems, collect data,
establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. * Ability to manage
and prioritize tasks including the acceptance and timely completion
of projects and assistance of teammates. * Ability to articulate
complex concepts clearly and concisely. * Ability to work
independently and prioritize daily tasks. * Ability to work in a
fast-paced environment and work well under pressure with a high
degree of accuracy. * Understanding of critical lending
documentation, general business systems and internal controls. *
Excellent client service skills. Tact and diplomacy in dealing with
both clients and associates. * The physical activities of this job
include but are not limited to the ability to stand and sit for
prolonged periods of time, use of manual dexterity, verbal
communication, visual acuity, repetitive motion, and the ability to
hear. Often long periods of mental concentration are required.
Other activities are the ability to bend, climb, balance, stoop,
kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push, pull, lift, and grasp. POSITION
