Night Auditor - Viking Hotel

**$14/hr

Job description - The night auditor will complete normal front desk duties such as; answering phones, making/canceling reservations, checking guests in/ out, taking payments, and helping resolve any guest concerns. The front desk personnel is often the first point of contact for our guests, a friendly welcome is a must. Communicating overnight events to morning staff is essential for a smooth transition.

Job Responsibilities -
---Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address service needs
---Register, take payments and assign keys to guests
---Inform guests of the amenities and services available to them
---Inform customers of availability and rates
---Handles any guest issues or complaints, using appropriate service recovery methods
---Work with the corresponding departments to resolve any property or guest issues
---Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems/safety hazards
---Communicate with the morning staff to inform them of any task to be completed or updates

Requirements -
---Available to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
---Previous experience is preferred but not required
---Able to work for complete overnight shifts independently
---Ability to perform computer-based tasks
---Ability to work independently
