Job Description SummaryThe Lead Services Project Controls Specialist is responsible for supporting and driving smooth execution of projects by working with Project Managers and other key stakeholders. This role will manage project documentation from project creation, execution, and closure throughout the different Field Services Product Lines. This role is responsible for developing internal controls and process simplifications around project documentation to ensure both compliance and operational excellence.The preferred work location for this role is at the GEH Headquarters Wilmington, NC but qualified remote candidates will be considered.Job DescriptionRoles and ResponsibilitiesProvide ownership of Services project management templates, tools, and best practices.Support the data collection and reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) that reflect performance and overall health of Services projects.Share best practices across services product lines and project managers to ensure project delivery standardization and champion process improvements.Train project managers on project control requirements and the systems required to use to meet those requirements.Serve as the Services subject matter expert on the Project Information Portal (PIP), Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) and other Business support systems.Support Services Business document checkout, revision, and issuance.Support internal and external audits related to the Services project management processes.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree from an accredited university with 3 years of relevant experience in a technical field/industry OR a high school diploma with 6 years of relevant experience in a technical field/industry.Willingness and ability to travel (up to 25%) to Customer sites or the Wilmington and San Jose Training Facilities as dictated by business needs.Ability to obtain unescorted access to Nuclear Plants.Desired CharacteristicsSelf-starter and highly organized administrative skillsStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work across diverse personalities to drive compliance with Business requirementsAbility to effectively train others in the use of support systems (i.e. PIP, PLM, Oracle, Box, RedShare, GE Folders)Technical writing backgroundExperience with Oracle, PLM and Tableau reporting systems.The salary range for this position is $73-95k. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.
