Job DescriptionSeeking an enthusiastic guest friendly proactive individual with a passion for hospitality to join our team, Common Area Attendant will maintain the public area cleanliness; including all traffic areas such as but not limited to, elevators, floors, stairwells, light fixtures, door frames, all public restrooms, etc.The Common Area Attendant is responsible for cleaning, maintaining and restocking supplies in all public areas (i.e. lobby, pool area, restrooms, hallways, etc.) while providing excellence service for guests and owners while on property! Responding to guest inquiries and needs while following brand standards.QualificationsAs a Common Area Attendant is responsible for executing your position's responsibilities in driving company success through performing the following activities to the highest standards.

  • Greet guests immediately with friendly/sincere acknowledgement. Provide exceptional customer service to guests, including information about resort services, activities and local attractions.
  • Reports maintenance deficiencies in order to maintain room in compliance with resort standards. Replenish linen and guest amenities; willing to "pitch-in" and help co- workers with their job duties and be an outstanding teammate.
  • Responsible for all projects in all public area spaces and other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or management.
  • Work in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment, flexible with spontaneous demands from guests and business needs. Ability to follow all safety procedures/standards; able to recognize and act in emergency situations.
  • Display professional image at all times through appearance and conduct. Regular attendance is critical to the successful performance of this role.

    • Effective verbal and written communication skills. Able to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, efficiently communicating with supervisors, coworkers, public etc.. Ability to communicate well with guests in English.
    • Able to lift up to 75lbs, and push/pull carts of 150lbs
    • Physically able to work from ladders, move furniture, operate cleaning equipment, and tolerate exposure to general cleaning chemicals. Ability to tolerate environmental factors such as humidity, cold/heat, dust, and noiseIt would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
