Job Description:

The Clean Freak Companies, a locally owned and operated service company that has been serving the Grand Strand for over 20 years, is seeking to fill the position of Director of People, Engagement and Culture (Human Resources). This is a newly created, entry-level position, designed to support the organization by:1. Developing advertising and recruiting procedures that maintain a pipeline of applicants and potential Team Members that meet the requirements and culture of the organization. This pipeline includes applicants, completed interviews, and those already in the onboarding process. This pipeline allows for the continued growth of the organization by ensuring that a pipeline of talent is constantly in process and prepared for onboarding. 2. Working with the Leadership Team to define and develop Team Member retention programs in order to maintain customer satisfaction levels, organizational growth levels and position the organization for continued success.3. Assist and support Operations Managers with onboarding, orientation, training, and ongoing Team Member relationship issues such as performance reviews, disciplinary and coaching opportunities, etc. Schedule and conduct regular open-door meetings with Team Members in order to support and gain insight into Team Member satisfaction, Culture compliance, and retention requirements.4. Develop, implement and design monthly Team communication media that aids in the education, development, and inclusion of Team Members.5. Develop and implement regular and ongoing incentive and Team building events, birthday recognitions, anniversary recognition, etc.6. Audit, Approve and process payroll on a weekly basis using QuickBooks Payroll7. Develop and maintain employment-related forms, files, and documents8. Work directly with the ownership and Leadership Teams to define, develop and reinforce the beliefs and culture of the organization.Skill Requirements:Must have a comfortable knowledge of computers, software, spreadsheets, word processing, social media (FaceBook), internet, email, etc. You will be using various internet-based software such as Applicant Tracking Systems, internet job postings, electronic onboarding, etc.Must have high energy, excitement, enthusiasm, patience, creativity, and kindness with a real desire to help develop people, by encouraging, disciplining, motivating, and in some cases terminating - in order to set and achieve the personal and business-related goals of Team Members and the Organization.Professional and personable, and is able to define and mirror the Culture of the organizationHave the ability to communicate verbally, and in writing in a professional, easy-to-understand manner adhering to proper grammar, etc.This is a perfect opportunity for someone with little to no experience in the HR field, or for a recent graduate who is highly motivated to learn and develop. This is a permanent, full-time, year-round position.This position will pay an hourly wage and will include a bonus program based upon organizational growth and employee retention.Compensation: $12.00 - $20.00 per hour Thank You for visiting our careers page.
