Established law firm in Myrtle Beach seeking a pre-litigation
paralegal to join their office full-time.--See below for details

confidence)The pre-litigation paralegal is responsible for managing
the day-to-day legal casework for the firm in a fast-paced,
high-volume environment, and must work accurately under pressure
while handling cases focused on personal injury. ideal candidates
must be dedicated to teamwork by empowering and supporting one
another to achieve the best results. We are willing to train the
right candidate.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepares legal correspondence, interfaces with the client on
non-legal issues relating to the case; refers legal issues to the
appropriate attorney.
- Obtains pertinent case information from the client; analyzes,
reviews, and prepares the information into case notes of the
client's file.
- Must be able to multi-task and handle tasks promptly and
professionally with all staff and client's.
- Maintains excellent client relations and documents all contact
with client in the case management software.
- Obtains all pertinent information from clients to include their
treatment status, doctor appointment information, changes in
medical care, documents and records information; notifies attorney
of any changes and/or concerns.
- Notifies the attorney when forms, documents, or additional
information is received; and completes any necessary checklist task
or makes updates in the clients file.
- Communicates with the client to ensure that all appropriate
reports, records, bills, wages, and insurance information is
received in a timely manner.
- Upon case settlement, prepare disbursement sheets by confirming
balances and expenses for the attorney to review.--Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Preferred 1-2 years of similar legal experience,
administrative, or customer service experience.
- Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish)
- Prior experience handling medical records, insurance claims, or
managing case files.--Benefits:
