Learn more about Employee Benefits Note: Eligibility for benefits may vary by location. Job Summary: Responsible for the day to day operation of the MRI departments. Scheduling and staffing of the personnel and evaluation of the MRI staff. Performs MRI examinations with protocols outlined by the Radiologist. Operates diagnostic MRI equipment, and prepares the room with the necessary equipment and supplies for the procedure. Duties include, but are not limited to, scheduling, transporting patients, ordering supplies, inventory, cleaning, and anything deemed necessary by the Medical Imaging Management Team. Protects patients and staff from the magnetic field. What qualifications you will need: Associate Degree Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date Registered Radiographer (ARRT), or State Registered Radiologic Technician ARRT MRI certification required Grand Strand Medical Center has provided quality healthcare services since 1978, giving patient's access to highly-trained physicians and advanced technology.
