Radiation Therapist Location: Little River, SC Agency: Jackson HealthPros Pay: $2,015 to $2,215 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/12/2026 About the Position Join a fast-paced hospital team in Little River, SC where your expertise as a Radiation Therapist will directly impact patients receiving outpatient cancer care. From delivering targeted treatments to collaborating with oncology professionals, you will play a vital role in patient-centered radiation therapy within a comprehensive cancer center. What You'll Need: • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program • AART Certification in Radiation Therapy • Valid Radiation Therapy state license, if required by South Carolina • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working on a treatment machine delivering patient treatments (client requires a couple of years’ experience treating patients on a treatment machine) • Experience with linear accelerator operation and verification of treatment plans and dosimetry • Experience working in an outpatient comprehensive cancer center preferred • Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred Additional Duties: • Administer daily prescribed doses for radiation therapy treatments using advanced linear accelerators or other treatment units. • Position patients accurately according to prescription and utilize immobilization devices. • Record, verify, and document treatment software data and patient records. • Educate, prepare, and reassure patients and families regarding treatment, side effects, and post-treatment care. • Adhere to radiation protection principles for patients, self, and others and use appropriate safety equipment. • Contribute to training of radiation therapy students and participate in continued professional development. • Perform other duties as assigned consistent with outpatient radiation oncology practice. Assignment Details Facility type: Hospital – Outpatient Comprehensive Cancer Center Shift name: Days Shift details: Days 0700-1900. Shift will be split between start of 0700 and end of 1900.
