Job Description:
HCA Healthcare seeks a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse
(RN) to join our Same Day Surgery team. The ideal candidate will
provide exceptional patient care within our state-of-the-art
surgical facilities, supporting patients through their surgical
experience—from pre-operative preparation through post-operative
care. This role requires a compassionate professional who thrives

Assess patient conditions through systematic and thorough
observations and evaluations. Prepare patients for surgery,
including explaining procedures and post-surgery care. Monitor
patient vital signs and physical condition throughout pre-op,
surgery, and post-op phases. Administer medications as ordered by
physicians and maintain detailed records of patient care.
Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other surgical
staff to ensure comprehensive patient care. Educate patients and
their families on post-operative home care requirements and
resources. Demonstrate commitment to patient safety and adherence
to healthcare regulations and standards. Strong clinical skills in
a surgical environment Excellent communication and empathy
Proficient in using healthcare software and systems Ability to work
under pressure and make quick decisions Detail-oriented and
meticulous in following surgical protocols Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered
Nurse license in applicable state BLS Certification, ACLS preferred
CNOR certification is advantageous
