Registered Nurse (RN) | Endoscopy Location: Conway, SC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,957 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/17/2026 About the Position Job Title: Endoscopy Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (06:45 - 15:15) Experience: Minimum of 5 years in Endoscopy nursing License: Current state nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Experience with Cerner charting system - Travel experience Description: This position requires working five days a week for eight hours each day. Rotating start times are from 06:45 to 15:15, 07:15 to 15:45, 07:30 to 16:00, and 08:00 to 16:30. On-call duty will be required once a week and every fifth weekend. The unit typically runs three rooms daily, with about 28 to 35 cases per day. Previous experience in a similar setting is essential. Skills involve familiarity with lithotripters, opioid analgesics, and managing conscious sedation. The nurse will handle tasks including obtaining 12 lead EKGs, administering and monitoring conscious sedation, and managing various endoscopic procedures. This role requires knowledge of equipment for bronchoscopy, EUS, ERCP, and other related procedures. Strong collaboration with interdisciplinary support services is necessary. Patient age groups typically include adults and geriatrics. Daily census averages around 30 patients. Unit focuses on various patient diagnoses, including upper and lower GI bleeds and PEG tube placements. Special equipment such as EUS ultrasounds with FNA will be used. Flexibility is required as candidates may float within the facility. Given the nature of the role, the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment is crucial.
