Job Description Ortho Surgery Generalist opening - Kinston, NC Located 30m to Greenville Position Details Full-time, permanent Employed Existing group Open to experienced physicians or exemplary new grads. Also open to Total Joint Fellows 1:3 Call Surgeons provide expert orthopedic care using the most advanced procedures in sports medicine, joint replacement, fracture care and foot and ankle surgery. Compensation: Guaranteed base salary plus productivity incentives Support for relocation expense (if applicable) Rich benefits plan w/ generous PTO package, 403B employer-sponsored retirement plan CME 5 days plus $2500 reimbursement/fiscal year Malpractice insurance including tail coverage Community: Low cost of living, affordable housing with excellent public and private school options Revitalized downtown area with numerous shopping, entertainment and dining options Outdoor activity options include kayaking, fishing, cycling, hiking, and golfing Vibrant arts community Convenient to metropolitan areas and international airport Responsibilities: Consult with patients and analyze patient data to determine patient needs and treatment goal Evaluate and treat multiple orthopedic diagnoses including fractures, damage to tendons/muscles/ligaments, osteoarthritis, etc. Collaborate with other specialists, when necessary Perform various orthopedic related surgeries Maintain detailed notes, including medical histories of patients, test results, communications, medications, etc, using Epic EMR Participate in hospital and Surgery Center cases Educate patients and families Support local athletic teams and events Participate in unassigned hospital call as well as practice call rotation
