Provide mobile X-Ray and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare
facilities, and other miscellaneous facilities. Tasks and
Responsibilities: Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital
(DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment. Transmit X-Rays to a
Radiologist for interpretation. Unload portable X-Ray equipment and
conduct exams as ordered by the physician. Obtain clinically
diagnostic and technically competent X-Ray images. Perform EKGs (as
needed) and transmit them to a Cardiologist for interpretation.
Scan exam-related paperwork and documents daily according to
protocol. Regularly communicate with dispatch and management.
Interact professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients.
Maintain vehicle and X-Ray equipment. Physical Demands: The
physical demands described must be met to perform the essential
functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made for
individuals with disabilities. Radiologic Technologists may push or
pull weights ranging from 50 to 100 lbs. Using vehicle ramps and
pulleys can decrease the weight pushed or pulled. When pushing or
pulling equipment in a facility or home, the weight can increase.
50 lbs of force (or more) may be required 16 to 24 times a day.
