Registered Nurse (RN) | Oncology Location: Wilmington, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,053 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience required; first-time travelers accepted License: NC or Compact license required at time of start Certifications: - Oncological certification required - BLS required - Chemo certification required Must-Have: - Experience in an inpatient setting - Proficiency in Med/Surg, colostomy care, accessing ports, blood product administration, central line blood draw, peripheral line care/management, and PICC line management - Familiarity with administering chemotherapy if needed Description: The position requires skilled RNs for the medical surgical oncology unit. Patients primarily have general medical-surgical diagnoses with oncology history. Contract staff may be required to work during severe weather or disasters. Floating to similar units and alternate care locations may be required. The target patient ratio is 1:6. Weekly work schedules include every other weekend. Participation in monthly staff meetings is expected. Daily patient census in the unit is approximately 42. Attendance to the staff meetings is required.
