Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Wilmington, NC Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $1,892 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/23/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified PCU RN in Wilmington, North Carolina, 28401! Job Opportunity – Cardiac Telemetry / Step-Down RN – North Carolina Start Date: March 23, 2026 Location: Wilmington, North Carolina Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours per week, 13-26 week assignments available Highlights: Post-cardiac surgery step-down unit with a diverse case mix including CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, and vascular procedures Patient ratios vary by acuity: 1:4 for surgical step-down, 1:5-6 for lower acuity patients Epic charting system with 24 hours of unit orientation provided Flexible weekend requirement: 4 per 4-week schedule period Float within unit rotation, not first to float Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and physical therapy Requirements: Minimum 2 years of cardiac floor experience required Active RN license (North Carolina or Compact state) BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Must pass EKG testing prior to start date Proficiency in cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, sheath removal, and post-MI/cardiac cath care Experience with cardiac drips (titration and management), chest tubes, non-invasive airway management, and CPAP/BiPAP Epic charting experience preferred Travel nursing experience required unless candidate has 24 months of cardiac experience Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work with a sophisticated cardiac patient population in a fast-paced step-down environment.
