Outpatient, Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm with protected administrative time (8
hours/week)Call: Shared 1:4 rotation, supported by after-hours

of 4 physicians and 3 APPs in a well-established cancer care
program Affiliation with the Duke Cancer Network for access to
advanced clinical trials, research, and best practices
Outpatient-focused role with standard office hours and protected
administrative time Opportunity to expand clinical services, launch
new initiatives, and drive strategic growth Average patient volume:
15–20 patients/day; 40% oncology, 60% hematology Procedures include
bone marrow biopsies, port insertions, and other oncology-related
interventionsResponsibilities Diagnose and treat a wide range of
cancers and hematologic disorders Lead and mentor oncology and
hematology team members Collaborate with hospital leadership and
Duke Cancer Network experts Improve clinic workflows, ensure
high-quality, evidence-based care Develop and implement new
services and community outreach initiatives Participate in
strategic planning for service line expansion Support education of
medical students, residents, and fellowsFacilities & Resources
10-chair infusion center with additional infusion units on campus
Onsite lab and pharmacy Advanced imaging: PET, 64-slice CT, 3-D
mammography, breast MRI, high-definition endoscopy/bronchoscopy
Bi-weekly tumor boards (breast, PCC, GI, ENT) Surgical referrals to
local and regional centers; bone marrow transplants coordinated
with Charleston EMR: CernerCompensation & Benefits Base
Compensation: $700k (flexible/negotiable) WRVU bonus potential
