Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Wilmington, NC Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $1,873 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 26 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Neuro Medical-Surgical Unit – North Carolina Start Date: March 2, 2026 Location: Wilmington, North Carolina Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Night shift, 36 or 48 hours per week, 13-26 week assignments available Highlights: Specialized neuro medical-surgical unit with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio Epic charting system with Pyxis medication management and SBAR communication protocols 24-hour comprehensive orientation provided with interdisciplinary team support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy Weekend requirement of 5-6 shifts per contract (approximately every other weekend) Patient population includes adults and geriatrics with general medicine diagnoses and neurological focus Opportunity to gain or utilize charge nurse experience Requirements: Current RN license (North Carolina or Compact state license) Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required ACLS and BLS certifications required NIHSS certification preferred Experience with telemetry, dysrhythmia management and interpretation, IV starts and maintenance, and peripheral line care Neurology experience strongly preferred Must pass EKG testing prior to start date Epic charting experience preferred First-time travelers accepted Willingness to float to other units as needed based on census and skill set Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only) Why It's a Great Opportunity: This neuro medical-surgical position offers the chance to develop specialized skills in neurological patient care while working with a collaborative interdisciplinary team dedicated to patient safety and quality outcomes.
