Job Description:
Interviewing Family Medicine physicians to join a
state-of-the-art healthcare facility in Coastal South Carolina
dedicated to providing exceptional medical care to the community,
with over 90 years of unwavering commitment to the health and
well-being of the Myrtle Beach area. Deliver Emergency care
services in a state-of-the-art 12-bed Free-Standing Emergency
Department. About the position: 12-hour shifts with four
physicians/day and APPs covering 10-hour shifts. Two 12-hour
physician shifts/day and APP coverage as volume requires. Rotations
between the main ED and FSED are expected, though exclusive FSED
coverage may be considered. Main ED: 42 beds with dedicated
high-acuity, moderate, and less-acute zones. FSED 12 beds with full
lab, X-ray, CT, and ultrasound capabilities. Technology: Cerner EMR
with Dragon Dictation for efficient charting. Level III Trauma
Center Over 50,000 annual ER visits Low Transfer Rate: 2% -
