Seeking an additional interventional cardiologist due to increased patient need/demand. Primarily outpatient clinical role with inpatient responsibilities. Standard office hours (Mon-Thurs: 8am-5pm / Friday 8am-12pm) 4.5 days clinic cath lab time with .5-day protected admin time per week = 36 patient contact hours / 4 admin hours 3 days clinic / 1 day lab / 1 day call Call Schedule: 1:4 Stemi call (1:3 with hospital, 1 weekend per month covered by MUSC IC physicians; 1:6 rotation for general cardiology call.) Cerner EMR Average Patient Volume: 18-22 patients per day Visit Types: Interventional Cardiologist consultations, follow-ups, and diagnostic testing. Consultative service only hospitalists manage admissions. Advanced diagnostic capabilities, including Echocardiography (TTE/TEE), Stress testing (treadmill, nuclear), Cardiac CT and MRI, 256-slice CT scanner for advanced imaging. Support from a full cardiac device clinic and a team of dedicated technicians. Facilities: 2-room Cath lab, 10 operating rooms, and a 14-bed Cardiac Monitoring Unit (CMU). Cardiology Team: Clinic space is directly connected to the Cath lab, providing streamlined workflow and collaborative potential. The clinic provides in-house wound care with hyperbaric chambers, supporting Cardiac Care and wound care integration.
