Job Description:
Locum Anesthesiologist Opportunity near New Bern, NC Are you a
Board-Certified Anesthesiologist looking for a rewarding locum
tenens opportunity? We are currently seeking a qualified MD or DO
to join our team near New Bern, NC. This is an exciting chance to
contribute to healthcare in a dynamic environment. Visa sponsorship
is not available (No J-1 or H-1B), and the employment type is Locum
Tenens. Job Details: Orientation: New providers are required to
attend an orientation the day before their scheduled shifts
Clinical Responsibilities: Inpatient (10%) and outpatient (90%)
responsibilities Inpatient census: 34 patients per day Average of
7-10 admissions during the day and 4 admissions at night
Work/Coverage Period: 7-day work/call coverage period Call includes
nights and weekends 24-hour call only on the weekends, shared with
CRNA Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS/APLS (American Heart
Association) Surgical Cases: Approximately 175 surgical cases per
month Bread and butter cases include General Surgery, ENT,
Orthopedics, OB-Gyn, Optometry, Pediatric Dental, and Endoscopy
(pediatrics > age 2) No robotic or vascular surgery Additional
Details: No ICU/Critical Care Duties Anesthesiologist will not
respond to codes No expectation to serve as backup in the ER Must
provide anesthesia independently Comfortable providing Pediatric
Anesthesia on healthy children Compensation and Benefits: Salary
