Opportunity Position: Registered Nurse - Telemetry Location: City,
State Shift: Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15) Overview: We
are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse with a strong
background in cardiac telemetry nursing. This role requires the
ability to monitor and manage patients with various cardiac
conditions in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications: Minimum of
2 years of experience in a telemetry, PCU, DOU, IMC, or stepdown
settings. Strong cardiac experience is required. Preferred
certification in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS. Patient Care
Responsibilities: Monitor patients with Congestive Heart Failure,
Arrhythmias, and post-cardiac catheterization. Administer and
manage cardiac drips such as Dobutamine, Amiodarone, Diltiazem, and
Milrinone. Perform sheath pulls, and utilize TR Bands and Femstop
for post-procedural care. Provide interpretation and management of
dysrhythmias, including emergency response techniques. Skills and
Competencies: Strong proficiency in IV therapy and phlebotomy.
Experience with central line care/management and peripheral line
care/management. Ability to manage vasoactive drips and titrate
cardiac medications. Knowledge of isolation precautions and
medications. Respiratory skills including nasal cannula and
non-invasive airway management. Work Environment: The unit consists
of 43 beds with a daily census of up to 42 patients.
Interdisciplinary support is provided by Physical Therapy,
Respiratory Services, and other healthcare professionals. Contract
Details: Contract lengths range from 13 to 26 weeks. Weekend
requirement: 5-6 weekend shifts over a 6-week scheduling period.
Floating required as needed; potential to float every shift.
Orientation: 24 hours. Additional Information: This position
demands a teamwork approach and adherence to behavioral
expectations in all interactions with patients and staff. The
facility enforces a strict call-off policy. Successful candidates
must pass EKG testing prior to their start date and will be
interviewed prior to finalizing the offer. Patient Age Groups:
