Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 02/02/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Tele Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM • 36 hours per week guaranteed • 13-26 week contract length available • Patient ratios of 1:6-7 • Floating required as needed with potential to float every shift • Weekend requirement of 5-6 weekend shifts (every other weekend) • Maximum 7 days RTO allowed • Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays • 24 hours of unit orientation required • Navy scrubs required (not provided) • Minimum 2 years of experience required • First-time travelers accepted • Telemetry and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience required • Interpretation of dysrhythmias and remote monitoring required • Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery, and Sheath Removal experience required • Experience with accessing ports, blood product administration, central line/PICC line management • Cardiac drip titration experience (Diltiazem and Amiodarone) required • ACLS certification required, NIH preferred • Must pass EKG testing prior to start • Experience with Epic charting system preferred • Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team assignment expected • Cannot work more than 5 days in a row or more than 60 hours per week • Must complete 8-10 hours of non-billable modules pre-start and annually Facility: This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive telemetry unit that monitors cardiac patients with 43 beds and a daily census of 42. The facility provides specialized cardiac care including cardiac drip management, sheath removal procedures, and comprehensive post-cardiac catheterization care. The unit offers extensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and various other specialized services to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
