Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in Wilmington, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CVOR Discipline: RN Start Date: 01/15/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel CVOR RN – Day Shift (Short & Clean Version) Shift: Day | 4×10 hrs | 06:15 – 16:45 Experience: 2 years required | Traveler experience not required Locals: Accepted (rate difference applies) Required Skills: CVOR experience ECMO & Impella BLS Preferred: ACLS Level 1 Trauma experience Scrubbing cardiac cases (preferred, not required) Schedule & Call: 4×10 hr shifts (M–F) Call: 2 days/week every 3rd weekend Avg. 14 call days per 6-week schedule May work 5 days in a week if called in on weekend Ratios: 1:1 Floating: To main OR (same campus) if no CVOR volume RTO: Not allowed after booking (call-offs may result in cancel/DNR) Unit & Systems: EMR: EPIC | Pyxis | SBAR Orientation: 24 hrs Scrubs: Provided (Blue) Cases Include: CABG, AVR/MVR/TVR, TAVR, Aortic Dissection/Root, Carotids, Thoracic cases, Laser Lead Extractions, Pericardial Window, ECMO, Impella Additional Requirement: Contract staff must participate in Storm/Hurricane teams and report during disaster or mass casualty events.
