to find a qualified Wound/Ostomy RN in Wilmington, North Carolina,

Wound Care Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8
Experience: 5 years required License: Valid nursing license
required Certifications: BLS, WOCN preferred Must-Have: Minimum of
5 years of nursing experience required. Experience with both
hospital and pediatrics. Proficient in colostomy care and
management. Skilled in managing a variety of complex wounds.
Knowledge of ulcer risk assessment tools. Ability to perform wound
treatments and dressing changes. Experienced in symptom management
related to skin integrity. Description: RTO after booking is not
allowed and cannot be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or
additional RTO on the unit may lead to a cancel or DNR. Unit
accepts first-time travelers and locals. Skills required include
colostomy care management, continence skin care management, and
ostomy equipment selection. Knowledge in identifying and managing
risk factors impacting skin integrity is essential. Experience in
assessing and managing different types of ulcers is necessary. The
professional must be familiar with pressure ulcer staging and
various wound treatments. Certifications in ACLS, WCC, and wound
care are preferred but not required. The candidate should be
knowledgeable about infection control and isolation precautions.
Strong patient and family teaching skills are necessary. Knowledge
of EPIC charting system is required. The candidate must be
comfortable floating as needed. Working more than 5 days in a row
or exceeding 60 hours in a week is not permitted. Candidates should
be prepared to work during major holidays and cannot take RTO
