Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiovascular Operating Room Location: Wilmington, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,531 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/26/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required Must-Have: - CVOR experience Description: Required skills and experience include a minimum of 2 years of experience in CVOR. Traveler experience is not required. Local candidates are accepted. Call requirement includes 4 ten-hour shifts Monday through Friday, with call on scheduled days. There may be instances where candidate works five days if they come in on a call weekend. The average call days per six-week schedule is 14. Float to the main operating room will be required on the same campus if no volume is present in CVOR. Weekend call shifts are required every third weekend. Candidates will be assigned to and expected to work on Storm and Hurricane Teams. Candidates may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty, or disaster. The patient population includes adults and geriatrics. Daily census is not applicable, but patient diagnoses include CABG, AVR, MVR, TAVR, ECMO, Impella, and others. Charting system utilized is Epic. Call shifts may require candidates to cover weekends and holidays. Candidates must be comfortable floating without restrictions or special requests. Completion of modules and additional assignments may be required before the start of the contract. References from prior supervisors are preferred at the time of submission.
