We are open to hiring SLPs for even a few flexible hours per week! Young Talkers is a private pediatric and adult speech-language pathology therapy clinic located in beautiful Myrtle Beach, SC. The clinic has been owned and operated by a Speech-Language Pathologist for 14 years and has been voted Best of the Beach Speech Therapy Clinic for the past 8 years. Our clinic provides all of the Speech-Language Pathologists with a significant amount of clinical speech-language pathology treatment and testing materials, in addition to IPads, laptops, and desktops issued to the individual SLPs. The SLPs do not have to buy any materials or supplies. The SLPs have their own therapy room with most of them having an observation room with a one-way mirror. Our supervisors have been supervising both graduate students and CFs for many years, and therefore have a great supervisory system in place to provide maximum support including weekly meetings with the supervisor and director of the clinic. The SLPs on our team have a strong passion for pediatrics. We have a great team of Speech-Language Pathologists that work together to support each other. Our philosophy is to involve the families in the treatment to maximize the child's or adult's potential progress. Our diverse caseload could include children with: Autism spectrum disorders, Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, feeding disorders, phonological/articulation disorders, cochlear implants, language disorders, fluency disorder, and other disorders. The job positions will require the provision of speech-language pathology services for ages birth to 18 years old in a clinic setting with the opportunity to also work in a school setting, daycare/preschools, or home environment (EI) a small percentage of time. We do have the opportunity and option to offer experience with adults, as well for those who are interested in gaining experience in this area or who really enjoy working with this population as well. The adults are seen in our clinic in the areas of voice, swallowing, language including brain injury and CVA. Our adult patients are seen for therapy in our Myrtle Beach office, as well as a new office in Pawleys Island that we have been working with in an established audiology practice. This is a thriving private practice that continues to grow with very passionate and dedicated staff excited to make a difference in the lives' of others! Must have or will need to apply for South Carolina state license. We would love to have both CF & CCC applicants! Hiring for full time, part time & PRN positions with option of flexible hours/schedules.
