a qualified Cardiac Stepdown RN in Wilmington, North Carolina,
28401! About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse - Cardiac
Tele Location (On-site, Remote, or Hybrid?): Wilmington, NC
(onsite) Contract Duration: 13 weeks Work Hours: Day 3x12-Hour
(06:45 - 19:15) Total Weekly Hours: 36 RTO after booking is not
allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs
or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and
DNR 13 to 26 week contracts FLOATING REQUIRED AS NEEDED; potential
to float EVERY SHIFT. REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: Minimum Years
of Experience: 2 Year Experience Minimum Required Traveler
Experience: Unit WILL ACCEPT 1st Time Travelers Locals Accepted /
Rate Difference: Yes Skills: Telemetry AND PCU/DOU/IMC/StepdowN
experience. Interpretation of dysrhythmias and remote monitoring
required. Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery, and
Sheath Removal experience required. Accessing ports, Blood Product
Administration, central Line/care management, PICC line management,
Cardiac drip-titrate Diltiazem and Amiodarone, Post cardiac cath
experience Certs: ACLS PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: Skills:
Charge experience Certs: NIH JOB DETAILS: Ratios: 1:6-7 Shift: 12
Hour Days *36 Hours ONLY Can be Offered! -13-26 weeks accepted RTO:
7 DAYS MAX for AYA AUTO OFFER Float Requirement: YES REQUIRED AS
NEEDED; potential to float EVERY SHIFT. Weekend Requirement: 5-6
weekend shifts (equates to every other weekend) Contract staff will
be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane
Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a
catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the
Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff
may be preassigned to units as needed. PATIENT DIAGNOSES:
Congestive Heart Failure; Arrhythmias; Post cardiac Cath SPECIAL
PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Unit monitors cardiac patients. Cardiac
Drips (Dobutamine, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Milrinone, Dopamine, etc).
Sheaths Pulls, TR Bands, Femstop UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication,
Documentation, Communication): Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR SCHEDULING TYPE:
Self, Per the Unit Needs UNIT ORIENTATION: 24 hours SCRUBS: Navy
INTERNAL NOTES *MUST Pass EKG Testing prior to start for this
specialty. NM must interview prior to finalizing the offer
