II Unit: We are seeking a registered nurse to join our team at New
Hanover Regional Medical Center’s Medicine II unit. The Medicine II
unit is renowned for its strong emphasis on teamwork, which is
consistently improving. It fosters a culture of open communication

If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for
five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state
during the last five years, successful completion of a Board
approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or
reinstating your license. A ssessing patients' conditions and
health needs. Developing and implementing nursing care plans.
Administering medications and treatments prescribed by physicians.
Facilitate skill development and knowledge sharing among staff.
Foster a culture of teamwork and open communication with other
healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Educating patients and their families about medical conditions,
treatments, and preventive care measures. Advocating for patients'
rights and coordinating their care within the healthcare
system.
