Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVOR - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 07/14/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours - Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Registered Nurse - CVOR /nLocation (Onsite, Remote, or Hybrid?): Wilmington, NC (ONSITE) /nContract Duration: 13 weeks /nWorking Hours: Day 4x10-Hour (06:15 - 16:45) /nTotal Weekly Hours: 40 hrs/n/n /n/nRTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR. /n /nREQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: /nMinimum Years of Experience: 2 years experience /nTraveler Experience: NOT REQUIRED /nLocals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes /nSkills: Scrub; CVOR experience; must be proficient in scrubbing Cardiac cases. /nCerts: BLS /n /nPREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: ACLS, level 1 trauma experience. /n /nJOB DETAILS: /nRatios: 1:1 /nShift: 10 HR Day 4x10-Hour (06:15 - 16:45). /nCall Requirement: 4 10-hour shifts M-F will call on the days scheduled, there could be a week they would work 5 days if the come in on their call weekend. 2 days a week and every third weekend. For an average of 14 call days per 6 week schedule. /nFloat Requirement: to main OR on same campus if no volume in CVOR. /nWeekend Requirement: Call shift every third weekend /n /n /nContract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed. /n /n /nPATIENT DIAGNOSES: CABG, AVR, MVR, TVR, Aortic Dissection, TAVR, Laser lead extractions, Aortic Root, Carotids, Thoracic cases, Pericardial window, ECMO, Impella. /n /nUNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR /n /nSCHEDULING TYPE: manager determines /n /nUNIT ORIENTATION: 24 hours /n /nSCRUBS: provided, blue Techlink Systems Inc.
