Job Description:
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: CVOR
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience required. License: Current nursing
license required. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
required. Must-Have: Proficiency in scrubbing cardiac cases is
essential. ACLS and level 1 trauma experience are preferred.
Description: RTO after booking is not allowed. Additional RTO on
the unit could lead to a cancelation. Call requirements include
four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday. Weekend call shifts are
required every third weekend. Contract staff may be assigned to
work during catastrophic events or disasters. Along with scrubbing,
the unit handles diagnoses such as CABG, AVR, MVR, TVR. Experience
with ECMO and Impella cases is beneficial. Familiarity with
medication systems and documentation software is necessary.
Candidates are expected to be open to floating within the facility
based on census and skill set. Travelers cannot work more than five
consecutive days and must manage work hours accordingly. Modules
related to the role are non-billable and must be completed
pre-start. References from previous supervisors are highly
preferred at the time of submission.
