  • Traveler Experience: Accepts 1st time travelers
  • Skills: Must be able to take heparin drips, PCA, Colostomy Care, Feeding tube care and management, Blood product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral line care/management, phlebotomy, PICC line management, IV starts, Management of dysrhythmias, O2 Protocol Management, Non-invasive airway management, Peripheral line care/management, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Traumatic Brain injury, ortho trauma, surgucal drains, chest tubes- Emerson/Pleuravac, Nasal Cannula, Oral Suctioning, Tracheostomy Management, Wound care
  • Certs: BLS
  • ACLS, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Management of drips, CVA, Pre/Post Neuro Surgery, Spinal cord injuries
  • Target Ratios: 1:6-7
  • Shift: 12HR NIGHT. 36 or 48 hours accepted
  • Contract Length: Unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks up to March 15, 2025
  • PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Severe injury to the bones, joints, and/or soft tissue, Traumatic brain injuries, Spine injuries, pain, Neurological trauma/nerve damage, Subdural hematoma
  • UNIT SYSTEMS: Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR
  • UNIT ORIENTATION: 12 hour unit orientation, 16 hour organizational education
  • SCRUBS: Navy
  • Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team during catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster

    • Active RN license required
    • *Epic documentation experience required
    • Minimum Years of Experience: Required 2 year of experience required in last 5 years
    • Must be comfortable with patient ratios of 1:6-7
    • Required to work Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team
      • Schedule Information
      • Shift: 12HR NIGHT
      • 36 or 48 hours accepted. If 48, then no OT billed until after 48 hours
      • FLOAT REQUIREMENT: Floating to similar units and alternate care locations with inpatients holding
      • WEEKEND REQUIREMENT: Traveler will be assigned to every other weekend
      • HOLIDAY REQUIREMENT: Must be able to work 2 of 3 major holidays
        • Unit Specific Information
        • PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Severe injury to the bones, joints, and/or soft tissue. Traumatic brain injuries. Spine injuries, pain. Neurological trauma/nerve damage (small population). Subdural hematoma
        • UNIT SYSTEMS: Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR
        • SCRUBS: Navy

          • RTO: 7 days MAX
