  Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Medical Surgical 3S 48's Shift: Nights / 6:45p-7:15a, 12x4, 48 hrs per week, will consider 36'sLength: 13 weeksWeekend Requirement: Traveler will be assigned to every other weekendHoliday Requirement: Must be able to work 2 of 3 major holidays.Requirements:
  • NC License
  • 2 year of experience required in last 5 years
  • Epic documentation experience required
  • BLS
  • Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Management of drips, CVA, Pre/Post Neuro Surgery, Spinal cord injuries preferred
  • ACLS preferredOther Details:

Blood product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral line care/management, phlebotomy. PICC line management, IV starts, *Active RN license required. Management of dysrhythmias, O2 Protocol Management, Non-invasive airway management, Peripheral line care/management, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Traumatic Brain injury, ortho trauma, surgucal drains, chest tubes- Emerson/Pleuravac, Nasal Cannula, Oral Suctioning, Tracheostomy Management, Wound care
    • Float Requirement: Floating to similar units and alternate care locations with inpatients holding

Contract Length: Unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks+ up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to get the unit through the holidays!!**Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster.
