eTeam Inc is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel
nursing job in Wilmington, North Carolina.Job Description &

REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:
Minimum Years of Experience: 1 year
Traveler Experience: Unit Accepts 1st time Traveler
Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes
Skills: EPIC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. Must be able to take insulin and
heparin drips.
Certs: BCLS
PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:
CPI, Charge nurse exp.
JOB DETAILS:
Target Ratios: 1:6-7
Shift: 12HR NIGHTS 36 or 48 hours accepted. If 48, then no OT
billed until after 48 hours.
*Will accept 13-26 week contracts. Charge role is required for
night travelers.
***RTO: 7 days MAX***;
Call Requirement: Call required if put on call prescheduled
shift.
Float Requirement: Floating to similar units and alternate care
locations with inpatients holding.
Weekend Requirement: Traveler will be assigned to every other
weekend
*Must be able to work holidays
*possibly of taking care of COVID patients.
*Traveler will be assigned to a Inclement Weather Team.
** Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm
Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to
report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or
disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may
occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as
needed
PATIENT DIAGNOSES:
Adults and geriatrics. General Med/Surg Patients. Daily census
-43.
SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS:
Insulin Drips
Heparin Drips
Wound Vac Drsg Changes
High Flow Oxygen
We occasionally have limited short term BiPap with respiratory
support. No additional training needed. Appropriate for all
med/surg nurses. No PCU level patients on this unit.
UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication):
PYXIS EPIC, SBAR
SCHEDULING TYPE:
Unit Needs + Preferences relayed to management
UNIT ORIENTATION:
24 hrs.
SCRUBS:
Navy
