Overview
Work in concert with Maternal-Fetal physicians to obtain high
quality images and provide exceptional patient care.

Qualifications
- Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, required. Must be a
graduate of an AMA approved ultrasound technology program, ARDMS
certified.
- Experience: One year OB experience preferred, preferred.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: RDMS, OB, required. NT
Certification, required.
- Additional Skills/Requirements (required): Must be NT certified
within first year of employment. Must have current BLS
certification upon hire and maintain throughout employment as
required by department. Must maintain ARDMS certification.
Excellent communication skills required. Working knowledge of
various ultrasound devices. Must have ability to independently
obtain high quality images needed to assist MFM physician with
diagnosis. Perform high-level sterilization according to Clinical
Compliance standards following each exam. Ability to successfully
complete departmental and organizational skills validation and
competencies as required
- Additional Skills/Requirements (preferred): Able to perform
independently to obtain high quality images and advanced Doppler
techniques. Able to assist MFM physician with complex procedures.
Ability to put patient at ease during ultrasound(s) and
procedure(s). Reconciles patient's medical and prenatal history,
current medications, medication allergies etc.Demonstrate
willingness to be flexible as needed to accomplish departmental
needs and goals.
