Job Description:

The Counseling Center of Sayebrook is seeking an experienced, communicative, and compassionate licensed therapist to join our team and support the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of our patients. In this role in our group private practice, you will work directly with patients to actively listen to problems and concerns and suggest healthy and productive ways of coping with those issues and traumas. This role requires someone who enjoys working closely with people, not just with clients, but also with other members of our team and outside agencies. Therapist Duties and Responsibilities Conduct weekly recurrent outpatient therapy appointments with patients who wish to engage in long-term therapy with a licensed clinical mental health professional. Establish positive and trusting relationships with patients. Implement various treatments and protocols to provide guidance and appropriately address patient situations. Continually assess patient situations and provide ongoing treatments, diagnoses, and goals that will be met in therapy. Educate and involve family members or other loved ones in the treatment process when necessary. Record and maintain high-quality documentation about the patient's care. When required, refer patients to outside sources or agencies that can better address their specific needs. Maintain the strictest confidentiality of each and every patient situation.
