Unit Profile Hospital: Grand Strand Health Location: Myrtle Beach, SC Address: 809 82nd Parkway 29572 Unit: Maternity Center Building: Main General Information Unit Specifics: Number of Beds : 14 postpartum, 7 L&D Patient Ratios : 1:3 couplets postpartum or combination of gyn patients, 1:2 L&D Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : RN s and CST s Type of equipment : Client Corometrics Fetal Monitors, Client Pandas and Giraffes, Affinity 4 labor & delivery beds, NeoPuff Documentation system: Meditech and CPN Scheduling requirements: 3 (12 hour) night shifts Floating policy: None Patient Experience requirements: Bedside shift report and hourly rounding Hospital Specifics- Certifications: Must be certified Hiring profile Requested Skill Set: 2 years experience in Labor and Delivery and postpartum/couplet care Must have: BLS, ACLS, NRP Advanced skills needed: Circulating and PACU/Recovery Procedures performed on unit: C-sections, vaginal deliveries, circumcisions Certifications Required: Dress Code: (Required uniform) Pewter gray pants (purchased by employee), turquoise tops provided by hospital Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please attach unit specific policies and guidelines.
