Traveler shall be scheduled in accordance with facility
policy and is expected to work every other weekend and Holidays in rotation
with Hospital employees.

Hospital: Grand Strand Medical CenterLocation: Myrtle Beach, SCAddress: 809 82nd ParkwayUnit: Emergency Department (780)Building: n/a General InformationUnit Specifics: Number of Beds: 29 main ED beds, 3 trauma bays, 14 main ED hall beds, 5 sub triage chairs, 10 pediatric ED beds, 10 Fast Track cubicles for a total of 71 designated patient treatment areas.Patient Ratios: 1:4-5 Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : fluctuates with ED censusType of equipment : Alaris IV pumps, GE monitors, LifePak 15s, Belmonts, RangersDocumentation system: MeditechScheduling requirements: Every other weekend, Every other holidayFloating policy: all expected to float to freestanding EDs (we have 3), rarely asked to float to floor/unit and if floated in house you act as Care Partner (you do not take pts)Hospital Specifics-Certifications: Level 1 Adult Trauma, Level 2 Pediatric, Teaching hospital, Chest Pain and Stroke centerHiring profileRequested Skill Set: TNCC, Meditech experience and at least 2 years ED (travel experience preferred) Must have: comfort caring for all ages Advanced skills needed: n/a Procedures performed on unit: all Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS, PALS Dress Code: (Required uniform) Royal Blue scrubs (top and bottom)
