Job Description:

Experienced Interventional Cardiologist needed just outside of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

• Each Physician will have dedicated RN "side by side"
• **Certificate of Need (CON) was approved for PCI / Interventional, state approved
• Renovation is under way with build out 2nd Cath Lab
• Globus Celsius robot
  • Team Health hospitalist group handles all admissions
  • Stress test and echoes done in the Cardiac Care clinic
  • Cath Lab 500 cases
  • 24 +/-patients per day
  • 4.5 day clinic / .5 half day admin
  • APPs see established and hospital follow up Cardiac Clinic with an affiliation with Duke
    • What Duke brings to the table is:
    • Internal Clinic & Infusion center
    • Support in logistics and set up of new pharmacy
    • Both positions are employed
    • Duke has fast track for our patients and do allow them to be seen/treated at MUSC
    • cancer/cardio clinical trials to begin 15/18 months once accredited About:

        • Leadership has long tenure across the administration
        • Board Chair has 20 years in leadership, well respected in the community

          • NEW Hospital announced TBB in 2024; 55 bed facility in the Carolina Forest market west of Myrtle Beach, SC
          • New PCP offices (2) coming in 2021
          • New Orthopaedics Team
          • New Infectious Disease clinic
          • Bringing on Rheumatology
          • Level 3 Trauma
          • H1-B sponsorship
          • 340(b) drug program will align with the new service line
          • 85 providers w/ multiple specialists
          • 450+ days cash on hand for operating pre-covid19; 420+ now

          • Strong primary care base for referrals and growing
