We are looking for a dental hygienist to join an amazing practice in the Surfside Beach, S.C. area!

What You'll Do

• You will create a patient experience that's unlike any other!
• You will clean calcareous deposits, accretions and stains from teeth and beneath gum margins with the appropriate instruments
• You will chart conditions of dental decay and disease for diagnosis and treatment by the dentist
• You will help our team maintain and sterilize dental equipment
• You will take x-rays
• You will apply fluorides and other cavity preventing agents to prevent dental decay

  • You are a dental hygienist who loves your field of expertise
  • You are a subject matter expert on dental hygiene and you take it very seriously
  • You love to prepare and be ready for each and every patient
  • You have the ability to prepare dental equipment and instruments
  • You have excellent working knowledge of overall dentistry and dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
  • You have the ability to travel at minimum one time per quarter for training; potentially out of state
  • You have some dental software background
  • You can operate digital x-ray equipment
  • You are proud of the meticulous x-rays you take
  • Your patient care is stellar and you go above and beyond to ensure your patients happiness
  • You are patient and understanding and you can build great relationships with your patients
  • You love teaching patients new ways to optimize their dental health
  • You have experience using Vizilite, Velscope and/or Diagnodent a plus
  • You have superb leadership skills and you love to help mentor others
  • You have experience with chrome, polish, x-ray and nitrous oxide (certification preferred)
    
    The Must Haves
    
    • You must have a valid Dental Hygienist license in S.C.
    • You must have a minimum of an Associates degree in Dental Hygiene, Bachelor's degree a plus
    • Periodontal experience is a plus!
