Job Description:

Responsibilities:---Plan and direct the activities of sanitation personnel during 3rd shift---Assist in the daily evaluation of product quality to ensure compliance with established standards---Ensure proper training of sanitation personnel to follow work rules and procedures---Support compliance to plant quality and food safety systems, pest control, sanitation, environmental policy, corrective action policy, etc. ---Evaluate job performance of sanitation personnel and take corrective action as needed---Ensures master sanitation schedules are maintained.---Conduct inspections and initiate corrective action as needed---Orders all cleaning chemicals and maintains adequate levels are cleaning inventory---Participate and lead continuous improvement efforts for the departmentQualifications & Requirements:---3+ years of quality or sanitation leadership experience in the food industry---Knowledge of food safety programs and systems: GFSI (BRC or SQF preferred), internal auditing, cGMPs, HACCP---CIP experience required---Strong familiarity with sanitation chemicals and ordering/storage of these materials.---Microbiological and sanitation experience preferred---Open to 3rd shift
