- Parts Manager:
- Run a profitable and efficient RV Parts Department
- Hire, train, and monitor staff performance
- Work with the Service Manager to ensure a timely turnaround of
parts needed for internal jobs
- Prepare and administer an annual operating budget for the parts
department.
- Understand, keep abreast of, and comply with federal, state,
and local regulations that may affect parts sales
- Direct and schedule the activities of all parts department
employees
- Monitor parts department employees' payroll records
- Develop, enforce and monitor guidelines for working with
customers to ensure maximum customer satisfaction
- Handle customer complaints immediately and according to the
dealership's guidelines.
- Establish and enforce a pricing policy that balances volume,
customer loyalty, and the cost of doing business
- Monitor and adjust inventory to minimize
obsolescenceQualifications - Parts Manager:
- Previous experience in an RV/Automotive parts department is
preferred
- Some sales experience is required
- Previous experience in logistics, supply chain management,
distribution a plus!
- Experience with working with inventory, retail, grocery stores,
or warehouses are a plus!
- Previous experience in management or sales in an RV,
Automotive, Motorsport dealership/shop is a PLUS!
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to operate the department profitably within dealership
guidelines
- Ability to use a computer, MS Office, and other office
equipment
- Requires continuous visual ability for use of computer, files,
and reports
- Ability to bend or sit for long periods of time
- Ability to reach above shoulders and lift a minimum of 50
pounds
- High school diploma
- Valid driver's license
