A+ Heating & Cooling - Electrical is seeking an HVAC Operations Manager to join our Ocean Isle Beach, NC team!A+ Heating & Cooling - Electrical is a full-service contractor with the ability to address all of your HVAC needs. Our certified technicians use state-of-the-art technology to diagnose, repair or install any system. We make it a point to recognize and reward those who work hard.Our company needs an operations manager that can manage and grow a high-volume HVAC service provider in both revenue and profitability. Maintaining and developing customer relations, excellent hiring skills, and ongoing training for the department along with positive motivational skills are essential. Development of procedures and goals, in line with the adherence to company policy and mission of the company, is expected. A great working relationship with colleagues and other managers, owners, and associates with an upbeat team spirit is sought and reciprocated.As the Operations Manager, your essential responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Creating, communicating, and implementing the Company vision, mission, and overall direction.Making sure that the direction is communicated on a level that allows every employee to feel as if they are part of something bigger than themselves and that their role is strategically important to the organization.Leading managers of multiple business layers of a very successful HVAC organization.Help formulate and implement the strategic plan for the company and work with all levels of the organization to execute.Maintaining awareness of both the external and internal competitive landscape, opportunities for expansion, customers, markets, new industry developments and standards, and so forth.Lead the company through change including opening new lines of business and forging into new markets.Evaluate the success of the organization using a set of strategically important measures to determine the ongoing success - or lack thereof - that the organization is experiencing.Use non-measurable aspects of the work environment to gauge other aspects of business success.Manage and develop the leadership staff, which includes hiring, terminating, and disciplining of employees, scheduling employees, setting work priorities, conducting staff meetings, counseling employees, evaluating performance, and directing work assignments to ensure effective use of resources and customer satisfaction.With the participation of the executive team meets regularly with senior company leadership to make sure that decisions the organization needs are well-thought out and timely.Uses this team to spread ideas and direction throughout the organization until every employee understands their expected role and responsibilities for contribution.Evaluates the workload in a way that best utilizes manpower and maximizes profits.Ensure all processes and procedures are followed.Observes all safety and Company rules and regulations in the performance of duties.Full financial responsibility for the organization.Attend to customer escalation issues/satisfaction.Identify and communicate where improvements can be utilized.

Requirements:
Education and Experience Requirements:Minimum (4) year experience with Microsoft Suite/Office (Word/Excel/Power Point/Outlook)Minimum 7 years of experience performing at a management level for an HVAC service business or related services company.Understanding of the principles of quality management with respect to effective communication.Experience with management and conflict resolution.Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software experience such as Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce is desirable.Valid Driver's License.Bachelor's degree preferred however would consider candidates who have years' experience commensurate with higher education.Required Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Knowledge of supervisory principles, practices, and techniques.Persistence in conquering objectives.Skill in both verbal and written communication.Must be sales driven with the ability to lead and motivate sales and operational staff.Strong computer skills are essential; computer proficiency with Microsoft applications.Heightened focus on providing excellent customer service.Proven leadership and coaching abilities.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.Job Type: Full-timeThe RequirementsGreat AttitudeCustomer Service OrientedExcellent time management and organization skillsExcellent written and oral communication skillsStrong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skillsAbility to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levelsAdaptable, flexible, and innovative team playerProven experience as a dispatcher or other relevant positionMinimum of 1-2 Years of experience in a fast-paced business office setting with experience using Microsoft OfficeFluent with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPointExperience using Microsoft Dynamics is highly preferredThe BenefitsWe offer a rewarding career path with great benefits, flexible schedules, professional and on-the-job training and growth plans.
